SUMMARY:Golden Flute Classic - farewell Concert to the Swiss region of La Côte
DESCRIPTION:Swiss Flute Society\nThe 10th anniversary of the festival\, newly named Golden Flute Classic (formerly La Côte Flûte Festival)\, marked in October 2024 the last edition in the beautiful La Côte region along Lake Geneva\, which had hosted the event since 2014. The association managing the festival\, which had been transformed into the Swiss Flute Society\, decided to take the Golden Flute Classic on the road\, traveling from city to city to reach flutists across different geographical and linguistic areas of the country. \nIts director\, Carole Reuge\, will give a farewell concert to the region\, and to the town of Gland in particular\, whose authorities have supported the event for over 10 years and where more than a hundred residents have regularly participated as volunteer collaborators. \nArtists\nCarole Reuge – flute / Sarmad Khoury – piano \nProgramme\n\nSergei Prokofiev – Sonate pour flûte et piano\nRobert Schumann – Märchenbilder (Nicht schnell)\nCésar Franck – Sonate pour violon et piano (arr.
