The European Flute Council (EFC) was established in 2015 to support sustainable, strategically important projects across Europe by fostering cooperation among national flute associations. Its work focuses particularly on educational and artistic development.
The EFC is governed by a board of six elected members from different European countries, acting in accordance with the EFC Constitution and the mandate of the annual EFC Conference.
JOIN THE EFC!
Become part of a growing European network of more than 20 flute associations and festivals — a non-profit organisation dedicated to exchange, collaboration, and the development of the flute repertoire.
The EFC Resource Hub provides an interactive platform to give visibility to your work and encourage collaboration across Europe.
You can publish your events, share educational projects, promote your publications, and feature multimedia content. We particularly support initiatives in pedagogy, education, and academic research, and we are happy to review your projects for potential collaboration within the European flute community.

Meet the board
The Board of the European Flute Council (EFC) is dedicated to uniting and connecting flute players, associations, schools, and universities across Europe. Our mission is to foster collaboration and strengthen the bonds between various communities involved in the world of the flute. By working closely with national and local associations, educational institutions, and individual musicians, the EFC aims to create a network that supports the growth and development of flute playing in all its forms.
